| Nachshon is proud of its many, varied
business sectors. To date there are 17 active business sectors
operating which range from agriculture to hi-tech and a few
interesting ventures planned for the near future. |

| One can compare the present business
sector to a large shopping center. There is always one large
business that is the anchor of the business (eg. Hamashbir
etc.) surrounded by smaller enterprises. Nachshon's "anchor"
is the Aran Packaging Factory who employs 70 workers and is
the main source of income of the kibbutz. |

| In addition we have various agricultural
enterprises, a wide range of human resourses which is an exception
in the kibbutz movement and various branches for tourism in
planning. |
| |
| The advantages of such a model are
many: dispersion of risks, options for interesting places
of work, challenges for the inhabitants, potential for connecting
to the land and the future. |

| The disadvantages being the same
as in other branches of the kibbutz: lack of accommodation
and manpower. There is no doubt that we have the potential,
motivation and courage to overcome the disadvantages and move
forward.. |
